How money moves, how a trade works, and who to ask if something looks stuck.

How funding works

You add money by sending USDC to your Dumbify wallet. Open Add money for the address and the exact USDC contract on the network you pick. Send that USDC, not a different token with a similar name.

You also need a little ETH on that same network. The ETH pays the network fee. Dumbify does not pay it for you.

The networks are Ethereum, Arbitrum One, Base, OP Mainnet, Linea Mainnet, Scroll, ZKsync Era, and Manta Pacific Mainnet. The first deposit that opens your trading account has to be on Ethereum, Arbitrum One, or Base. Later deposits can use the other networks.

How trading works

You describe what you think will happen. Dumbify asks Paradex for a quote. That request is an RFQ: makers answer with a price, and you see it before anything is bought.

If you accept, the trade fills at that price or better. You can close early by trading back with market makers. If nobody quotes, you hold the option until it expires.

At expiry the option settles in USDC, at that market's expiry time. Crypto options settle at 08:00 UTC. Other markets settle at the time shown for that market.

Fees

Paradex charges no fee on a retail trade.

Dumbify charges 2 basis points (0.02%) of the option's notional. Notional is the size of the option, not the premium you pay. The Dumbify fee is never more than 12.5% of the premium.

Moving USDC or ETH also pays the network a little ETH. That fee is separate.

How to withdraw

To move USDC from your trading account back to your Dumbify wallet, open Withdraw. From Add money you can send that USDC or ETH on to an exchange address.

Keys and security

Your Dumbify wallet key controls the USDC and ETH in that wallet. Anyone with the key controls your funds, and Dumbify can't recover it. Export it from Settings if you need a copy. Privy shows it in their own screen. Dumbify never sees it.

The Paradex trading key on this device can place trades and cannot withdraw. Removing it in Settings stops this device from trading. It does not move your funds.

If quoting is paused

Paradex sometimes pauses its quote book. The app then says Paradex isn't taking new requests, and it does not send an order. Your money stays where it is. Options you already hold still settle at expiry. Wait a few minutes and try again.
